  • Each 50-minute workshop will be live with Chani. There will be a teaching portion, a reflection portion, and an interactive portion. You will have the opportunity to engage with other participants in small groups, and ask Chani questions in the full group.

  • The Slow Down Challenge includes four 50-minute workshops plus each workshop’s recording. The 30-Day program starts the first Wednesday of the month and meets at 8:10pm ET / 5:10pm PT on Zoom.

  • Absolutely. Many skills need ongoing practice, including the skills you’ll be learning in the Slow Down Challenge.

    You can sign up for one month, two months, or four months. If you’re going through a lot, this program offers support. Chani welcomes your ongoing participation.

  • To reserve your spot, click “Sign Up Now” above. You will receive a confirmation email after you purchase the program. The day before your first workshop, you will receive another email with the Zoom link.

  • We understand that things come up. After each workshop, you will receive links to materials — including a recording of the workshop and the weekly challenge.

    To receive the full benefit of the program, we strongly recommend that you attend live whenever you can.

About Your Teacher

Chani Getter, LCSW, is a licensed therapist, grief counselor, and award-winning educator. An expert on trauma and recovery, Chani’s life and work has been featured in two documentary films, One of Us and Devout, and in numerous news outlets including the New York Times, Elle, Haaretz, and The New Yorker.

Since 2007, Chani has supported and nurtured a growing community of queer and non-binary people across North America and Europe. The Jewish Women's Archive highlights Chani's pivotal role in supporting the formation and development of organizations and resources for LGBTQ+ people, including those wanting to stay connected to their Orthodox roots.

Called "boundlessly inspiring," Chani's stories, teachings, and non-judgmental approach enable people of all walks of life to reconnect with their authentic selves and find the clarity, inner peace, and inspiration they desire.
