Today is the DAY!!! My debut book, Mapito: Embrace Yourself, is officially released!!!

That means you can buy it right now, in any format, almost anywhere in the world. I can't believe it!!! This day that I have been working toward for years has finally arrived.

I am elated and filled with gratitude. And I have a favor to ask of you today. Because early reviews and sales matter a lot.

Some of you have asked, what is my hope for Mapito?

I hope to give individuals access to what is yearning inside, to ask the hard questions within themselves. To sit with the questions long enough for answers to emerge and then to have the courage to go after those yearnings.

I hope to invite families to have hard conversations, to create space for differences of opinions while holding all of those in the family with respect and dignity. To love deeply, fully, and completely.

I hope to enable more of us to understand trauma: individual, collective, and ancestral. To give us words and invite us to speak to one another with care and compassion. To empower us to envision a world where all of us belong to humanity and to co-create a better future for all.

In order to do this – this vision and hope I have for Mapito – people who know nothing about me or my work need to be introduced to it. For that, I need your help. 

Here is my request. If Mapito moves you in any way, please tell the people in your circle, let them know about the book, and share widely. 

AND . . .  please write a review on Amazon and Goodreads. On both of these sites, please scroll to the middle of the page where it says customer reviews and click on the star rating and then write a short review. It does not need to be fancy or long. One or two sentences will do. This totally reflects on how and when Amazon and other booksellers will recommend the book when others go online looking for the kind of book Mapito is.
